Wharfedale Festival of Piano and Song 2017

Well done to all our pianists who have been working together over break times to polish their entries.  All the hard work paid off as the excellent results show.

Piano Trio Year 6 and under:

2nd place  Ellie Fishwick, Martha Jackson & Tabby Hartley

3rd place   Lucinda Leeming, Maria Stefan & Jasmin Rhodes

Piano Duet year 6 and under:

1st place (with distinction)   Jemima Crebbin & Tabby Hartley

3rd place (joint)   Ellie Fishwick & Martha Jackson

3rd place (joint)   Olivia Patchett & Alex Waterhouse

Piano Solo year 4 and under:

1st place (with distinction)   Jasmin Rhodes

Piano Solo year 5 and under:

2nd place (with distinction)   Olivia Patchett

Although the Festival fell during the half term holiday 14 Moorfield children took part in the event. In addition to the competitive classes Amelia Barclay played in the non-competitive Year 3 piano solo class for the first time.
