Form 4 enjoyed a fantastic first day at High Adventure Outdoor Centre despite the rather wet and windy weather. We spent the afternoon on an adventure walk, practising our camouflage skills and weaseling through rocks. The evening saw us working together on the 'Nightline' obstacle course. Can't wait for Day 2!

From the very start of the day to the early evening, life at Moorfield is full of care, independence and fun.
Our wrap-around provision runs from 7:30am to 6:15pm, with the option of breakfast and tea included â helping families manage busy schedules with ease.
In Breakfast Club, children begin their day by building independence â pouring their own milk, spreading butter on toast and then settling into board and card games where older and younger children happily play together.
At lunchtime, our experienced team â including familiar lunchtime staff who know the children well â create a calm, friendly environment. Nursery children are supported and served by EYFS staff, while Reception children (and beyond) begin to make their own choices. Itâs the perfect setting to gently introduce table manners in a way that feels natural and never overwhelming.
As the day continues, our After School Care Team brings children of all ages together again for games and a relaxed meal to end the day.
Beyond mealtimes, thereâs so much to enjoy â from craft club (as shown here) to music, maths, puzzles and a wide range of sports clubs, all offered free of charge.
Every mealtime is overseen by a member of our EYFS team who is paediatric first aid trained, ensuring children are safe, supported and cared for at all times.
