Geography

In Geography, we aim to develop in children a curiosity, compassion and wonder for the world around them, whilst furnishing them with practical geographical skills, knowledge and vocabulary.  We seek to make them look critically at the issues facing the world and to engender an empathetic awareness of the threats posed by global warming and the need for sustainable development. We develop knowledge and understanding of the interdependence of society and the natural environment. Pupils gain a sense of responsibility for personal and group actions which impact upon the sustainable use and management of the Earth’s resources for future generations.
