Representatives from each class meet every half term with the Head to discuss ways to make Moorfield even better.  Whether it’s suggesting exciting new initiatives, improving everyday school life or making sure everyone’s voice is heard everyone, there is always plenty to say. There is opportunity to work together, spark change and prove that even the smallest idea can make a difference.

Older pupils sometimes chair the meetings and type up the minutes to keep a record of exactly what has been decided. It’s a great way for them to get involved at every level!

Over the past year,  our School Council has brought about change to playtimes, school lunches, sports kit, environmental awareness and gracious living for those who sit on the table of the week at lunch times.
