Supporting Senior School Applications
For pupils applying to senior schools with entrance assessments, Moorfield provides a carefully structured programme of preparation.
Support includes:
- Guidance on the senior school application process.
- Familiarisation with entrance exam formats and expectations.
- Practice materials and preparation activities.
- Interview guidance where appropriate.
- Individual support from teachers who know each child’s strengths and areas for development.
For families considering Bradford Grammar School, Moorfield hosts dedicated practice examination sessions as part of the 11+ preparation journey. These sessions help pupils become familiar with the assessment process and develop exam techniques in a supportive environment.
Moorfield also provides preparation for selective grammar school applications, with support beginning in Year 4 and continuing through to Year 6. Pupils benefit from structured preparation, practice assessments and feedback from experienced teachers, helping them develop skills in areas including verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, mathematics and problem-solving.
