2-day Holiday Forest Schools
These child-centred outdoor learning, exploration & play sessions will follow the Forest School ethos, typically including games, craft activities, tool use, den-building and a campfire, making the most of Moorfield School’s wonderful, wooded grounds.
Mon 19 & Tues 20 July: 7-11 yrs (Forms 3-6)*
Weds 21 & Thurs 22 July: 4-7 yrs (Reception & KS1)*
Thurs 29 & Fri 30 July: 7-11 yrs (Forms 3-6)*
Each day will run from 9am – 3pm at a cost of £70 for a 2-day programme (equivalent to £35/day). Participants will need to bring a packed lunch (no nuts) & drinks bottle and wear weather-appropriate clothing (including a coat) & sturdy footwear.

The sessions will be led by Ruth McBain (Moorfield’s bushcraft teacher; a qualified & experienced Forest School Leader & First Aider) with at least one colleague supporting (all enhanced DBS-checked & fully insured).
Pippa Rochford is a local Community Archaeologist with experience of supporting forest schools across the region.
Beate Manville is a qualified & experienced Forest School Leader & First Aider.

- If your child has additional needs, please contact us to discuss any support required. Unfortunately we are unable to offer 1:1 support, but are happy to discuss options with you.
