Mathematics
All children are encouraged to enjoy maths using a variety of teaching methods,
including practical activities and ICT based resources. As well as the core curriculum,
we aim to develop each child’s ability so that they become competent at solving
various mathematical challenges.
In years five and six all lessons are taught by a subject specialist. This ensures success
in senior school examinations. Mathematics is enriched to develop
cross-curricular topics that go beyond the National Curriculum.
