Thank you for visiting our Moorfield website. I hope you will find much to interest you.
There is plenty to see, showing the vibrancy of the curriculum and the creative
environment in which the pupils learn. Above all, you will see from the photographs
that Moorfield children greatly enjoy being at school.
Our return to co-ed status has been an exciting recent development. Parents are
delighted to be able to send both sons and daughters to Moorfield and the boys
who have started in our Nursery have slipped seamlessly into the busy activities
offered every day.
At Moorfield we achieve the rare balance between academic rigour and creating a
fun, friendly and caring environment where every boy and girl can thrive.
Pupils are nurtured as individuals and develop the personal confidence to be
successful. Our pastoral care is outstanding. The staff is totally committed
to the well-being of every child and will spend time and effort to ensure their
happiness. We take great pleasure in watching children blossom, the foundation
of care and learning setting them up for the years ahead. Pupils are sought
after by many selective senior schools who value the thorough teaching they
have received and their positive attitude.
The mark of our success is the achievements of the pupils themselves. They make
a visit worthwhile.
