Thursday Activities

Once a week, for one lesson, everyone at Moorfield mixes up with girls from other classes and with different teachers. We all go to our activities. Each half term we swop our activity so that we have a chance to try everything. Last week in Nature Club some girls painted stones to make ladybirds, while others planted bulbs into their specially designed pots. Some girls finished their collage fish in Popsy Art whereas a group of older girls did still life drawing while lovely music played. In Current Affairs we saw how different newspapers wrote about the same piece of news in different ways and, in the big hall, the table tennis players were improving their skills. There are many other exciting things going on as well. These activities are something we really enjoy.
