Meet the Head

Moorfield School and Nursery has a happy, purposeful and vibrant atmosphere which you will see as you take a tour around this website.

We take pride in the fact that we put our children at the centre of all we do in school, instilling a love of learning that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.  We are proud of our children.  We are proud that they are curious, open minded, resourceful, confident and most of all, kind.  These are values which staff, children and parents cherish and hold to and can be seen in the courtesy and respect we afford each other, the drive to be the best we can be and our desire to be happy together as a community.

A visitor once observed that ‘Moorfield is a small school with a very big heart’.  I am proud to be the Head of such a school and warmly invite you to come and see for yourself – you will not be disappointed!
